Liz graduated from The George Washington University with a Bachelor of Business Administration, where she was an all-conference Division I volleyball player. The most common question Liz is asked on a daily basis can be answered in two words: six feet (tall).
After graduation Liz worked as a business development manager in the DC area for many years before pursuing a financial planning career in 2013. Why the role change? Liz has tackled her own path to financial freedom, paying off student loan debt & medical bills, and consequently acquired a passion for empowering other women and men to transform their fiscal lives. “I know first-hand how intimidating, burdensome, and emotionally-draining financial hardship can be. My personal journey created a new world of freedom, peace, and security. It’s a feeling of fulfillment that I love to experience again and again through my client’s transformations.”
Liz coaches ambitious and enthusiastic clients throughout the country. She officially obtained her CFP® marks in 2016 and shifted her focus from wealth management to financial planning when she joined the MainStreet Financial Planning team in 2018.
Liz is a consistent contributor to industry newsletters and blogs, she can be spotted at Penn State’s Math & Money course as a guest speaker, and she’s currently hosting a series of money management seminars for Hearts & Homes for Youth. Her aspiration is to bring clarity and simplicity to personal finance while aligning clients’ unique personal values to their spending.
Liz grew up in Reading, Pennsylvania and is one of five children. When not working, Liz enjoys creating DIY home projects with the help of her patient husband + dancing in the kitchen with her two kids + mastering the Pilates reformer.
