The Seven Personal Finance Blogs to Read About Debt and Why

The Seven Personal Finance Blogs to Read About Debt and Why

There’s a lot of debt reduction ideas out on the internet. Some are great and some are suspect. Many come and go. Here’s my list of great idea promoters about getting out of debt and saving for your ideal life, whatever that might be:

My personal favorite, because I’m been reading him the longest, is Trent from The Simple Dollar. He has an impressive story and now the blog is his sole source of income. The archives are impressive. Please look through them.

Jackie Beck has a very compelling story also and continues to help others including an app to track your getting out of debt quest. Seems to be a popular tool.

Wise Bread is a compilation of many writers and therefore the content is always fresh with different perspectives. Take a look and you’ll get hooked too.

Money Saving Mom has so many good ideas for saving that at times it’s overwhelming. Don’t give up though, it will be worth it.

Making Sense of Cents not only has great ideas but the author reports how much money he makes each month doing just that. I can’t wait each month to cheer him on. Content exceptional too.

Get Rich Slowly has diverse content but also features discussion forums that provide additional questions and more importantly, some really good answers on all sorts of topics including saving and debt reduction.

Let me know your personal finance debt reduction idea favorites. Let’s continue to help each other.
