Daily Juice 095 – Gift Ideas- Non Monetary Gifts

We’ve been having a discussion about Holiday gifts and looking for ideas of how to make someone happy without breaking the bank. Today I’d like to talk about Non-Monetary gifts.

In my definition, non-monetary gifts are gifts that require no financial commitment.

Here are a few ideas:

  1. Volunteer time – The most valuable asset we have is time, however many confuse that with money! Ring a bell for Salvation Army for an hour or two and see how many “smiles” and dollars you can get?!
  2. Spend quality time with someone – the older I get, the more I realize that experiences and special moments spent with someone I care about are far more fulfilling and satisfying. These memories last forever.
  3. Make or Create something- I know that each and every one of us has a special talent when can be put to use. Be creative! For example, are you a craft maker, do you bake (I have a client, who always brings me homemade cookies to our meetings in December!)

My invitation to you today is to think about what can you do for someone you care about, without spending whole a lot of money or very little this holiday season.
