Daily Juice 035 – Financial Stress

Today I want to discuss an interesting topic, that’s been on my mind for some time. Financial stress.

First, let’s understand what Stress means.

Stress is your body’s way of responding to any kind of demand or threat, physically and mentally. When you feel threatened, your nervous system responds by releasing a flood of stress hormones, including adrenaline and cortisol, which rouse the body for emergency action.

Now imagine being in this kind of state, all the time?

How are you going to behave?

How are you going to feel?

How are you going to interact with other people?

Issues with money and finances contribute a great deal to this stress.

The annual Financial Stress Research study identified cash management as a primary underlying factor in determining financially stress you might feel.

So, it comes down to basic finances 101.

Leaving beneath your means. Having a good handle on your expenses, paying off debt and establishing emergency savings.
