Money Basics & How to Start Planning for the Future

No matter what stage you are in in your life, it’s important to learn the basics of making smart financial decisions. Life can go by so fast so thinking about how to secure a financial future begins now. Think about the basics – how much money is coming in every two weeks in your checking account…every week…every month. How much money we *think* we make can look very differently when you sit and look at monthly expenses. Taxes, health insurance, mortgage, disability, life insurance to name a few. Understanding where your income is going is essential, plus if your income is not fixed or it’s inconsistent, you really need to have that baseline understanding.
