EMPLOYEE SPOTLIGHT – KATHERINE EDWARDS

Learn more about our new member to the MainStreet Team, Katherine Edwards!

MainStreet Team: What has been your favorite project at MSFP, or what are you looking forward to?
I am looking forward to helping clients feel confident in their ability to accomplish their goals by creating an actionable plan based on their needs, wants and values so that they walk away feeling empowered.

MainStreet Team: Do you have a favorite book or movie?
Harry Potter – both the books and the movies however the books are definitely better. It reminds me of going to Barnes and Noble when I was young as soon as each book was released, and I would spend all day and night reading until I had finished them.

MainStreet Team: Favorite ice cream flavor?
My current favorite is Jeni’s Ice Cream – Brambleberry Crisp or Tillamook Waffle Cone.

MainStreet Team: If you were stranded on a desert island, what’s the one thing you’d bring with you?
A boat and if that is not allowed then I would bring a lot of sunscreen 

MainStreet Team: Where were you born?
I was born and raised in Charlotte, NC.

MainStreet Team: Tell us about your family.
I have been married for 10 years to my husband Jonathan and we have 2 golden retrievers, Brinkley and Brady.

MainStreet Team: What is one item on your bucket list?
Go on a wine tour through France and Italy!

MainStreet Team: Favorite bumper sticker?
No bumper stickers… although if I did get one it would probably be a UNC Chapel Hill sticker – go Tar Heels!

MainStreet Team: Tattoos?
I tend to pass out at the sight of needles so although I would actually like to get a tattoo, I’m not sure I could make it through the process.

MainStreet Team: Hobbies?
I enjoy running, drinking red wine with my husband and trying out new restaurants.
