Daily Juice 034 – Fear of failing

Daily Juice 034 – Fear of failing

I am here in hot, hot Vegas for a conference. As I was walking around the beautiful Bellagio hotel, I got thinking what do most people are afraid when they come to place like Vegas.

Fear of Failing

Aren’t we all? Although failing is a legitimate fear, don’t let that paralyze you from trying new things and moving forward. If you want to start a business or try your hand at investing, go for it. Don’t over think it and don’t strive for perfection. Motion is power! That will help you overcome it.

Also, take steps to lower the risk of failure by educating yourself. For example, before starting that business, take some management or finance courses. Or, if you have the time — and money — consider going to college and getting a degree in business. As for investing, turn to books, financial advisors, and online resources to learn more about the stock market.

I personally prefer to regret things in life that I did do and maybe made a mistake, rather than being afraid to fail and never trying.

How about you?
