About the Position:
MainStreet Financial Planning is seeking an energetic, enthusiastic, and growth-minded paraplanner to join its team of passionate professionals. The position will primarily support MainStreet’s financial advisors in servicing existing and prospective clients of the firm. This a fully remote position.
The ideal candidate for this position is someone who possesses financial counseling, accounting, and/or tax preparation experience. Is highly organized, self-motivated, and passionate about financial planning. The candidate must be detail and service-oriented, able to prioritize and manage multiple projects while adhering to deadlines and abiding by the highest ethical standards.

Responsibilities:
● Support a growing team of CFP®s and their client base
● Input client data into various tools used by MainStreet (WealthBox, MoneyGuidePro, Sharefile, Advisor Workstation, Microsoft Excel, Zoom, Slack, Holistiplan, etc.)
● Run financial planning projections, key reports, and performance analysis
● Research and organize presentations on key financial planning topics
● Maintain a strong commitment to teamwork and contribute to the overall success of the company
Qualifications:
● Minimum of 2 years of financial planning industry experience
● Preferred FPQP®, AFC® or MQFP® Candidate
● Possess a team-oriented spirit and an ability to thrive through collaboration
● Ability to succeed in both a self-directed manner and a team environment is essential
● Strong written and oral communication skills
● Structured and self-driven to meet deadlines in a remote location environment (home office); Ability to organize, prioritize, and complete the loop on tasks
● Attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills
● Willingness to learn new programs and software as needed
● Possess strong research and analytical skills
Compensation & Perks:
● W2 position with a competitive compensation package; starting wage at $57k/yr.
